COVID-19 Details

Q & A

What is Northview doing in response to COVID-19?

Your health and safety are our top priority. To allow for safe physical distancing, we’ve reduced our auditorium capacities in accordance with campus-specific county regulations.

All surfaces inside Northview buildings have undergone a two-step process using Bioesque Botanical Disinfectant and Razor antimicrobial coating to help reduce the spread of any viruses. Our campus teams are also cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic areas between services. In addition, you’ll find hand sanitizer stations around our buildings.

Are face coverings or temperature-readings required?

Anyone in the building, elementary age or older, is required to wear a face covering at all times. Please bring your own face coverings to the building.

Staff and volunteers have their temperatures taken upon arrival to our buildings. Children entering classrooms in Northview Kids will also have their temperatures checked.

If you have a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to COVID-19, please stay home and livestream the service at northviewchurch.us/watchonline.

How do I check in myself and/or my kids?

Check-in will be done via the Northview App. Be sure you have the Northview App downloaded  or updated on your smartphone (it’s now a blue icon!). A check-in option will be enabled once you get close to the church property.

You’ll be able to check in your whole family by entering in your phone number. Don’t worry, the process will feel very familiar to the check-in stations in the lobby.

Once you enter your phone number and check-in, a QR code will appear. When you arrive at church, walk up to a volunteer at one of the designated doors so they can help you scan your QR code. This final step will print the nametags.

If you do not have a smartphone or are unable to download the app for another reason, someone will be available to help you with check-in.

If you are having issues with the Northview App, check some troubleshooting tips here.

What about my 5th/6th grader?

Our 5th and 6th grade students will meet during regular service times at all campuses. Visit your campus page here to see when your campus offers 5th and 6th grade service.

Face coverings must be worn while inside.

For those not comfortable meeting in a group setting during weekend services, Playlister Services will continue to be made available through the website as well for families to do on their own.

What about my 7th/12th grader?

Our 7th- through 12th-grade students have the opportunity to engage with Northview Students in a few different ways. Student Life Groups are the best, and we want every student to be in one.

Depending on the campus, these Life Groups meet at a home/personal residence or at one of our campuses. Check with your campus for details. Face coverings are preferred during at home/residence groups and required for on campus Life Groups. For students who would prefer to meet online, Global Life Groups are available.

In-person Student Services will happen at each campus starting at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday nights (Friday nights for 7th & 8th graders at the Carmel Campus). These services will include worship and teaching. Face coverings are required inside the buildings.
